Who we are

Hydra Consulting Group, LLC ("Hydra", "we") is the data controller for personal data collected through https://workwithhydra.com. We are a limited liability company registered in Wyoming, United States.

For questions about this policy or the data we hold about you, email support@workwithhydra.com.

What we collect

Analytics data through Google Analytics 4: pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP, device and browser type, and the site or assistant that referred you. We record a classification of that referrer (for example, whether you arrived from a search engine or an AI assistant) so we can understand which channels bring people here.

Booking data when you schedule a call. Our calendar is provided by iClosed, and the name, email, phone number, and any answers you give are collected and stored by iClosed on our behalf.

Your email address when you give it to us, which happens if you subscribe to The Hydra Brief, download a case study, or complete the constraint diagnostic. Alongside the address we store which page you gave it on, and for the diagnostic we store which constraint your answers scored highest, so that what we send you afterwards is relevant to your situation. This data is held in beehiiv.

Advertising data through the Meta pixel, if you accept cookies. It records the pages you view here and whether you subscribed, and reports that back to Meta so we can measure our advertising. Meta may match it to an existing account.

Nothing else. We do not sell data, and we do not run any tracker beyond the two named above.

Neither Google Analytics nor the Meta pixel loads until you accept them in the banner shown on your first visit. Decline and no analytics or advertising script runs at all.

Third parties with access

Google Analytics, for the analytics data described above.

Meta, for the advertising measurement described above, where you have accepted cookies.

beehiiv, which stores our email list and sends The Hydra Brief. Any address you give us is held there along with the fields described above.

Slack, where a notification containing your email address is posted to our internal channel when you submit a form, so that somebody sees it.

iClosed, for booking. Their processing is governed by their own privacy policy.

Trustpilot, whose review widget loads on some pages and may set its own cookies.

Vercel, which hosts the site and processes server logs including IP addresses.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish visitors and sessions, and the Meta pixel sets advertising cookies. Both load only after you accept. The Trustpilot and iClosed widgets may set cookies when they load.

Your choice is stored in your browser and remembered on later visits. Clearing your browser storage for this site brings the banner back so you can change it.

You can also block cookies in your browser. The site works without them, though booking may not.

How long we keep it

Analytics data is retained according to the retention period set in our Google Analytics property. Booking and enquiry data is kept for as long as we have a live commercial relationship or conversation, and deleted on request.

Email addresses stay in beehiiv until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you. Unsubscribing stops the email; ask us and we will delete the record entirely.

Why we are allowed to process this

Analytics and advertising run on your consent, which you give or withhold in the cookie banner and can change by clearing this site's storage in your browser.

Where you give us your email address, we process it on the basis of your consent to hear from us, and you can withdraw that at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email.

Booking and enquiry data is processed so that we can take steps at your request before entering a contract, and to respond to you.

Server logs are processed on our legitimate interest in keeping the site available and secure.

Where your data goes

Every provider named above is based in the United States, so if you are in the UK or EU your data is transferred outside your country when you use this site. Those transfers rely on the safeguards in each provider's own data processing terms, which is the mechanism they offer their customers.

If you would rather not have data transferred, decline cookies and do not submit a form. The site is readable either way.

Your rights

You can ask us what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email support@workwithhydra.com and we will respond within 30 days.

If you are in the UK or EU, you also have the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date below. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised policy.
