Delivery pod
A delivery pod is a fixed roster of delivery roles with a known client capacity and a known margin, run as one repeatable unit. An agency staffs it, fills it to capacity, then clones it. Two pods coordinate themselves; somewhere around the third, someone has to own capacity across pods.
The important word is fixed. A pod that borrows a designer from the next pod every week is undersized, and the borrowing is the signal that the roster was built around who was available rather than around what one account consumes.
Check the margin with the pod full before cloning it. A pod that fails to clear target gross margin at capacity will never clear it half full, and no amount of volume fixes a unit that is unprofitable by design.
